Our team joined the development of Intellinote, a productivity platform for teams of all sizes to capture information, collaborate and complete work from anywhere, at anytime. The challenge of this agile project was to make the platform responsive and user-friendly.
We started work by going through in-depth learning of the project to choose the best strategy for its implementation. We thoroughly checked the code, managed to accelerate the app performance and solve the server load problem. Our team set up the development environment on the Amazon cloud and carried out the layout with the help of HTML5 and CSS3. We edited the application interface according to its new design and implemented its performance monitoring (memory, CPU) and elaborated a series of API tests. We also solved the problem of Mass Mail by using a relay server.
To make the application more intuitive and easy to use, our team developed a Welcome/Guide Tour to help users learn how to use the platform.
We developed a widget for mobile application users to help adapt the application to any mobile device, so that team members can easily access the platform while traveling.
We set up Evernote Importer, which is a seamless and easy way to import users’ Evernote content into Intellinote, making the notes actionable within our product. This Evernote to Intellinote Conversion is a section of code that allows us to copy users’ data from Evernote and transform it into the Intellinote format.
Finally, we made the application faster, cleaner and more attractive graphically.
