    Title: SEC Audit Partner—TOP 10 CPA firm
    Location: Manhattan
    Pay Rate: $300K+

    Required:

    CPA, must currently be with public accounting or consulting firm. Business development experience required, experience with SEC clients
    We are currently seeking an Audit Partner/Managing Director for the New York office to focus on our current SEC clients and to help build the practice further.

    As a leader in our growing SEC practice you will be responsible for:
    - Leading and planning all SEC engagements
    - Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
    - Working within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction
    - Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised
    - Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent
    - Ensuring that all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters are prepared with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy.
    -Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients
    -Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm's standards and policies
    - Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
    - Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise
    - Increasing level and types of services to clients
    - Initiating "cross selling" business
    - Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients

    Position Requirements:

    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing at a Senior Management level or above.
    - Experience planning and managing SEC client engagements.
    - Experience in leading cross-functional teams
    - Experience in the management and development of a team
    - CPA certification
    - Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    Additional experience preferred, but not required:
    - Five years of experience as an SEC Audit Partner
    - Experience working for a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm
    - Experience working in a paperless audit environment
    - Experience in business and practice development
    - MBA or other advanced business degree is a plus
