Description:
A national consulting firm is seeking a Business Development Manager for its FLVS practice in its NYC office and its Houston office.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing/developing business growth opportunities.
• The minimum quota is $1million/year
• Works closely with the Marketing and Communications department to understand the needs of the teams supported and collects/disseminates relevant practice information.
• Knowledgeable in practice services and our business development process to be able to support the Financial Services team.
• Prospect potential clients, qualify leads, initiate sales cycle by scheduling meetings and collecting market data to contribute toward moving opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Ensure follow-up meetings are scheduled and conducted in a timely manner
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and referral sources
• Maintain monthly reporting and update the firm’s database
Qualifications
• Must have a network of law firm contacts
• Bachelor’s degree
• Approximately 7+ years of relevant Financial Services experience;
• Ability to quickly gain the knowledge of the services and methodologies of the practice
• Track record of new business attainment
