Description:

CPA firm has an immediate need for an experienced audit manager of employee benefit plans primarily comprised of Multi-Employer plans ranging in size from 300 to 200,000 participants with assets of $5,000,000 to 1 Billion dollars.

 

Firm services almost 100 Multi-Employer Plans, many of which are in the Building and Construction industry.  These plans consist of defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare benefit plans.

 

 

 Responsibilities:

·         Supervision of audit staff

·         Scheduling engagements

·         Audit planning

·         Review of work papers and financial statements

·         Interaction with Plan Administrators and key personnel

·         Attendance of board of Trustees Meetings

·         Review of DOL and IRS filings

·         Review of staff performance

·         Marketing activities. 

 

Qualifications

·         CPA preferred

·         Minimum of 5 years experience of managing employee benefit plan audits
