Position Description:
This position will report to the Manager of Line of Business Finance and provide consolidation, financial reporting, analysis and decision support within the LOB (Line of Business) Finance CSCB & CRM Planning & Analysis team.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Create, automate, and update consolidation packages for CSCB & CRM, ensure 100% data accuracy. Lead the process for monthly results, forecast and be able to effectively communicate results with cross-functional leaders
Provide forecast and plan guidance and deep analysis during budgeting process, including key business drivers, P&L line items and staffing.
Identify functional business drivers and develop cost allocation methodologies to support timely decision-making.
Guide the team, comprised of financial analysts, to create and validate models, to perform variance analysis and organization development.
Perform budgeting, forecasting and analysis for identified areas.
Leverage diverse sources of data (MGMT, HFM, Essbase, MS Excel, MS Access, etc) to assess financial performance and develop action plans for achieving business goals.
Provide ad-hoc financial analytics for senior management as requested to achieve positive results.
Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 years, minimum, work experience in financial planning & analysis, forecasting, strategy and/or business management.
Demonstrated experience in variance and expense trend analytics
Proficiency with Hyperion Essbase, power user of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills. Must have demonstrable ability to successfully interact with all levels in the business.
High-level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, to manage the tight deadline and to work well with minimal direction.
Skills Desired:
MBA Preferred.
Credit card or direct lending background preferred, operations center experience is a strong plus
