FINANCE SENIOR MANAGER CONSUMER BANKING & LENDING - CHICAGO

Key Requirements for this job:

* Local candidate.
* MBA from top-tier school
* Consumer Lending industry experience (Highly ideal: someone with experience in Personal Loans and Student Loans); Must come from Fortune 500 Corporation.
* Staff management experience (ie hire-fire, performance eval, mentoring, career development experience. If your candidate only has Project Management experience, that will NOT be a match.)
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are musts. Must also have great mathematical aptitude (My phone screen includes a math story problem quiz dealing with loans.)
* Must show upward career progression in employment history.
* Pays up to 130K base (depending on relevant experience, current pay and/or competing offers) plus annual bonus with target of 10 %.

Position Description

This position will provide financial leadership for strategic initiatives including: industry analysis, risk assessment and financial projections. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in the process. The role offers a significant and challenging environment for the right person to apply existing skills in a creative manner.

Responsibilities:

Leading and developing a team of high caliber financial analysts
Providing strategic advice and financial analysis for investment decisions, enhancements to existing products and development of new products.
Developing financial projections of business performance to drive decision making.
Utilizing an analytical approach to develop insightful financial analysis.
Presenting findings and recommendation with supporting data to business partners and senior management
Collaborating with business partners to achieve strong results.
Skills Required To qualify, you must have:
Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines.
8 or more years work experience in financial analysis, strategy, business management, new product development or related with demonstrated progression of responsibility.
Strong leadership experience in a finance role
Experience must include excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and complex financial modeling and data driven analysis using NPV, IRR, etc.
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills required. Must have demonstrable ability to successfully interact with internal and external business partners.
A high level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
Prior experience in Consumer Lending and Banking preferred
