    Title: Chicago - Sr. Financial Analyst
    Location: Deerfield, IL
    Salary: $70000 - $80000
    Job Type: Full Time

    Description:

    This position will report to the Manager of Line of Business Finance and provide budget/forecast, financial reporting, analysis and decision support for Card Member Assistant department.

    Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

    Lead the end to end process for monthly results, monthly/quarterly forecast and annul plan, be able to effectively communicate results to functional leaders
    Identify functional business drivers which has impact on the financials and deliver meaningful analysis on the trend
    Execute monthly close activities including accrual entries, variance analysis and expense trending
    Build/Maintain staffing models to provide decision support for the field operations capacity planning
    Leverage diverse sources of data (MGMT, HFM, Essbase, MS Excel, MS Access, etc) to assess financial performance and develop action plans for achieving business goals.
    Provide ad-hoc financial analytics for senior management as requested to achieve positive results.


    Required:


    Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
    3 years, minimum, work experience in financial planning & analysis, forecasting, strategy and/or business management.
    Demonstrated experience in variance and expense trend analytics
    Proficiency with Hyperion Essbase, power user of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
    Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills. Must have demonstrable ability to successfully interact with all levels in the business.
    High-level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
