Description:

The Project Manager position will report to the Senior Manager, Revenue and Receivable Forecasting, and be responsible for providing analytical support for finance charges and receivables.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and interpreting business trends and summarizing and articulating them to business partners and Senior Management
Working closely with Marketing to understand changes to business strategies and the impacts to finance charges and receivables and related drivers
Supporting development of monthly forecasts and annual and long-range plans
Understanding and integrating regulatory and economic change impacts
Benchmarking DFS results to industry
Providing proactive analytics and reporting to improve forecasting and understand results.

To qualify, you must have:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.
3 - 5 (+) years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, quantitative modeling in a Microsoft Excel environment (must also have proficiency with pivot tables and v-lookups. Experience writing macros a plus.) Must also be proficient with PowerPoint.
Strong project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to balance attention to detail with task prioritization.
Self-guided, results-oriented problem solver that adapts quickly to change and ambiguity.

Ideal /Optional Experience, Education, etc.:

* Above work experience from Financial or similar industry (ideally in strategic insights role).
* Experience with Excel macros/Visual Basic and/or regression analysis a plus.
