    Title: Post Sales Engineer  - Document Management / Imaging Solutions
    Location: Lake Success, Long Island, NY
    Salary: $ 65k-90k
    Job Type: Full Time

    Description:

    The pre-sales enginner provides professional services to customers for implementing software solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    •    Validates technical solutions for feasibility.
    •    Implements software solutions according to a defined solution "blueprint".
    •    Provides technical support for solution implementations.
    •    Functions as technical escalation for internal resources (Help Desk, Field, etc.).
    •    Assists with the Pre-Sales process for solution sales where required.
    •    Develops comprehensive solution implementation documentation, both customer facing and internal, for Help Desk.
    •    Actively participates in the continued maturity process of the organization (i.e. SOP development).
    •    Remains up-to-date on developments within a defined portfolio of solutions (new version, patch, competitive landscape).
    •    Authors one or more Technical Publications per quarter for distribution to Field Sales and/or Support.

    Qualifications:

    •    Bachelors Degree or equivalent
    •    Minimum three years relevant business experience
    •    CDIA+ and one or more relevant solution implementation certifications (i.e. EMC AX, Canon imageWARE) required (if not certified, must achieve certification within six months of hire date)
    •    EMC Application Xtender, Kofax, eCopy, uniFLOW, imageWARE, Captiva, Net+/A+/Security+ certifications desired
    •    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    •    Strong background in computer software, hardware and networking
    •    Up to 90% travel required, 50% requiring overnight stays of 2 to 5 day
