    Job Description

    Our Client’s rapid growth in merger and acquisition advisory services has created a need in the Indianapolis office for a highly motivated individual possessing strong skills and experience in accounting due diligence.  This is a unique opportunity to join a small team of experienced professionals who focus on small to mid-market transactions.  Technology and experience allow us to limit our travel on engagements to short time frames while continuing to rapidly deliver comprehensive consulting services to our clients.  We provide excellent service to an exclusive client base of private equity firms. Five to eight years of experience.

    Job Requirements

    • Responsible for the planning, fieldwork and project delivery of the due diligence advisory services.
    • Identify and communicate significant deal issues to the client through written reports and meetings.
    • Direct the drafting of the final report.
    • Responsible for communication with all parties throughout the project, including contact with private equity fund managers, investment bankers and lenders, as well as establishing key relationships with the target company's executives and employees
    • Exposure to a wide variety of businesses around the country.
    • Utilization of prior experience and skills to uncover accounting and business issues on new engagements
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA preferred
    • CPA required
    • Technical accounting expertise developed through significant public accounting experience with an audit background
    • Inventory accounting experience required
    • Mergers and acquisitions consulting experience required.  Heavy private experience especially combined with past acquisition experience will also be considered.
    • Strong business acumen
    • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
    • Driven, great attitude, team oriented and a desire to succeed.
